The mechanism uses a server seed, client seed and nonce. Before a supported game, KeyDrop provides an encrypted hash of the server seed. After seed rotation, the server seed can be revealed and compared with the earlier hash.
The platform also keeps seed histories and provides a verification interface. That lets a user check the data used for a result instead of relying only on the animation shown during a case opening or upgrade.
For the competitive format that also relies on fair case results, see KeyDrop Case Battles.
